Powder release is used with stamp- able overlays, stamped concrete and wall stamp mixes. It creates a barrier between the wet cement and the stamping tool. The color mixed in the release is pressed into the deeper recesses of the stamp profile. When cured the cement is washed or acid washed to remove the bulk of the release but leave the release color in the recesses of the pattern. This powder can also be used to make boulders and textures on pre-cast products with texture stamp pads.
