SureCrete's Super WB is a 30% solids, water based, low VOC (less than 100 g/L), strong binding, clear, gloss acrylic sealer for SureCrete overlays or any cement based product. This product contains a hybrid, self-cross-linking, acrylic resin with built-in water repellency and tenacious penetration and adhesion. It contains no wax or silicone additives. The coating is chemical resistant, durable, does not blush, has long solids retention, and is easy to clean. Super WB is non-flammable and environmentally safe.

Water-based acrylic sealers are often the product of choice for homeowners looking to seal exterior overlays or freshly poured concrete applications because of its low VOCs, having less of an odor during application and curing, and being less hazardous. For contractors this is often the case as well, since its eco-friendly green properties allow SureSeal Super WB to accredit a job site with more LEED points.

HOW DO YOU APPLY?

Our Acrylic Sealer products are some of the easiest to apply and use:

1) Any surface that is about to be sealed needs to be completely cured, clean and free of all contaminants, and fully profiled and etched.

2) Make sure that temperatures will remain between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit and there will be no precipitation in the applied areas for a 24 hour period following application.

3) Super WB Acrylic Sealer can be applied by roller, airless sprayer or pump-up sprayer. Whatever your application technique, make sure to apply in thin, even coats over your surface.

4) Two coats are typically suggested with any exterior project receiving an acrylic sealer, with the second coat being applied as soon as first coat is able to be walked on, and is applied in the same manner as the first coat.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

CAN I USE JUST ONE COAT OF SUPER WB?

Technically yes, however it is not suggested. For the best results we highly recommend using two thinly applied coats of Super WB water-based Acrylic Paver Sealer and Concrete Sealer.

WILL SUPER WB SURVIVE THE FREEZE/THAW CYCLES IN MY AREA?

While it is slightly less durable in this regard than our HS Series premium acrylic sealer products, it does still have some moisture-migration-reducing properties.

CAN I USE ANOTHER, LOWER SOLIDS CONTENT SEALER OVER TOP OF SUPER WB?

Yes, in fact, this sealer is able to be diluted with water and therefor can be applied at a variety of dilution rates once any given coating has finished curing.
